The LG solar manufacturing plant in Gumi, South Korea also contains state-of-the art testing laboratories. These facilities test our daily solar panel output for product quality, product consistency and performance. Our solar testing laboratories have been certified as high quality photovoltaic testing facilities by two world leading certifying authorities, TÜV Rheinland (Germany) and Underwriters Laboratories (USA). This dual certification for LG solar was a first for the solar industry.
