What sort of panels should I buy?

We suggest that you look at Mono Crystalline solar panels for the following reasons.

1) Tried and tested for a long time

Mono Crystalline solar panels are first generation solar technology and have been around a long time, providing in the field evidence of their durability and longevity. The technology is being improved day-on-day and some early modules installed as far back as the 1970's are still producing electricity today. Most performance warranties from large diversified manufacturers go for 25 years, but as long as the PV panel is kept clean and gains no water penetration, corrosion or break down of the polymers in the backing sheets the solar panel will continue to produce electricity for a very long time.

2) Highly efficient technology

Solar panels made from Mono Crystalline solar cells are able to convert the highest amount of solar energy into electricity of any type of flat solar panel. These are a great choice for urban settings or where space is limited.

3) Diversified manufacturers provide solid warranty support

Over the past years, due to an overcapacity in the solar industry many solar only manufacturers have experienced financial difficulties.

LG Electronics Australia/NZ (LGEAP) is a diversified manufacturer with nearly $1 billion of sales in NZ and Australia and over $50 billion worldwide. Solar is a small part of our overall product portfolio. This means our manufacturer’s warranty is a strong, reliable and valuable warranty.

4) Visually pleasing

LG’s panels have a black frame and a black surface colour. They are visually very attractive. Multi Crystalline panels are blue and a blue panel is not every one’s cup of tea on the roof of their home.

5)Operating well in higher temperatures

Mono Crystalline solar modules suffer a reduction in output once the temperature from the sunlight reaches higher temperatures. At panel temperatures of around fifty degrees Celsius reductions in output of between twelve and fifteen percent can be expected. This loss of efficiency is lower than what is typically experienced in solar panels made from Poly Crystalline panels at similar temperatures.

LG has various sizes of Mono Crystalline solar panels for you to choose from.
